The new application, programmed in Pure-data, is capable of directionalizing sound objects at any azimuth, at elevations between -40 degrees and 90 degrees, and at distances 20-160 cm. Webmovement is applied to the receiver, which renders the signals for a speaker layout fitting the HRIR database [1] (same layout with different channel order in this case), using 3D vector-based amplitude panning (vbap3d, see [2]).
