Web16 ott 2013 · We present a new software application based on a recently collected HRIR database comprising measurements at different distances. The new application, programmed in Pure-data, is capable of directionalizing sound objects at any azimuth, at elevations between -40 degrees and 90 degrees, and at distances 20-160 cm. Webmovement is applied to the receiver, which renders the signals for a speaker layout fitting the HRIR database [1] (same layout with different channel order in this case), using 3D vector-based amplitude panning (vbap3d, see [2]). Using vbap3d, the same loudspeaker signals (with different channel order) are returned when no movement is applied. toxxot
