WebMy local repeater needs my handheld set to receive on 462.xxx, but transmit on 467.xxx making it a standard GMRS offset of 5.0 MHz. Some ham radios can be used on GMRS without any problems, but ham radios have ham offsets which are often or - 6 MHz depending on a bunch of ham related factors. The last factor would be privacy tones.
